This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we, Meorot – Kollel Sochatchov (Registered Non-Profit Association) (“Meorot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collect, receive, store, use, and share Personal Information (as defined below) about individuals in connection with their use of our websites https://www.veten.co.il/ and https://vetenbelibenu.co.il/ and the “Ten Chelkenu” mobile application (including their subdomains and content, together the “Site”).
We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the Personal Information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you. “Personal Information” has the meaning given in Israel’s Privacy Protection Law and includes information about an identified or identifiable individual, such as data regarding a person’s personality, personal status, intimate details and private life, health, finances, professional training, opinions, and beliefs.
You are not legally required to provide us with Personal Information, and by providing it you confirm you do so voluntarily. By browsing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy, including the collection, processing, and sharing of Personal Information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please review it periodically, including before taking actions on the Site.
At present, you can access general information on the Site without sharing Personal Information. However, we may collect Personal Information from you in the following ways:
3.1. Contact Details
If you contact us via an online form, email address listed on the Site, or any other Site channel, you may be asked to provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your inquiry, so that we can respond. If you do not provide these details, we may be unable to handle your inquiry.
If you purchase products through the Site, we will keep information about the products you purchased and any details needed to fulfill the order and shipment (e.g., email address, full name, phone number, shipping address). Without these details we cannot complete your purchase and/or deliver the products.
If you choose to join our mailing list to receive articles and updates by email or to your phone, we will store the email address and phone number you provide in order to send you those updates. Without these details we cannot send you newsletters, updates, or marketing messages.
Some calls with us may be recorded for quality control and service management. If you contact us—or we contact you—by phone (including after you leave your details on the Site), the call may be recorded and stored for these purposes. If you do not consent to call recording, we may be unable to provide certain services or process your request.
We may use log files. The information in log files can include IP address, browser type, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, filtering actions, clicks, and other data your browser provides. We may use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user movement, and gather demographic information. Blocking or withholding this information may affect the Site’s operation and our ability to improve our services.
We may use cookies, anonymous identifiers, and other tracking technologies for security purposes, to provide our services, present personalized information, and improve user experience. A cookie is a small text file used, for example, to collect information about activity on the Site, save preferences, and authenticate. Some cookies/technologies may retrieve Personal Information such as IP address. Most browsers let you control cookies (whether to allow them and how to delete them). Blocking cookies or certain tracking technologies may impact your experience, limit certain services, or impair our ability to show personalized content.
We may collect limited device information needed for operation, such as device type, device ID, timestamps of Site usage, browser type and language, request date/time, and the requested URL. We may also use location-based technology to help us compile aggregated statistics—however, we do not use identifiable Personal Information for this purpose.
The Site may use Google Analytics to collect information about Site usage (e.g., visit frequency, pages visited, referring sites). We use this information to maintain and improve the Site and our products. We do not combine data collected via Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s use and sharing of information collected via Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service (http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html) and Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/). Learn how Google collects and processes data here: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The Site may use marketing tools that collect and use information for ad targeting. These tools use cookies and other storage methods to collect or receive information. More details: https://www.facebook.com/legal/technology_terms/ and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=iw. You can limit certain marketing data collection at http://www.aboutads.info and http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.

4.1. To contact you, including when you are interested in Meorot’s services or our offers, or when you request additional information.
4.2. To improve the Site.
4.3. To handle your requests of any kind and respond to inquiries and complaints.
4.4. To secure the Site and comply with applicable law.
4.5. To defend against legal claims.
4.6. If you join our mailing list (newsletters, updates, and notices about activities), we may use your email address and other electronic means to send marketing communications we believe may interest you (including via email, WhatsApp, and SMS), and to send service updates or news. If you prefer not to receive such messages, you may email info@veten.co.il with the words “הסר מדיוורים” (“unsubscribe from mailings”) or use the unsubscribe option in any message.
We do not share Personal Information you provide with third parties except in the following cases, to the extent reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:
5.1. With service providers and business partners who help us operate the Site and process Personal Information.
5.2. Where we believe in good faith that access, use, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (1) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; (2) enforce our terms, including investigating potential violations of the Site’s terms or any other agreement with us; (3) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (4) protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of the company (or its agents), users, or the public.
5.3. With third-party service providers and partners who support our business operations and help us provide services to you and other users. Such information may be transferred to providers in other countries, including the United States.
5.4. Merger or Sale. If our organization is acquired by or merged with a third party, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Information.
We may use Anonymous Information (information that does not identify an individual user, e.g., aggregated usage data) or disclose it to third-party service providers to improve our services and your user experience. We may also disclose Anonymous Information (with or without consideration) to third parties, including advertisers and partners.
We implement up-to-date information-security measures and procedures, consistent with accepted standards, to protect Personal Information stored in our systems. While these measures reduce the risk of unauthorized access, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the Site will be entirely immune from unauthorized access to stored information.
You can choose not to receive promotional emails or other messages about services by clicking the unsubscribe link in accordance with applicable law. Please note that even if you opt out of such messages, we may still send service messages—for example, responses to “Contact Us” requests or other administrative notices to enable your use of the Site.
Meorot is the controller of the database in which Personal Information collected by us is stored. We respect your right to privacy and aim to keep only necessary, accurate, and up-to-date information. You may review information we hold about you and, if you find it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or not up to date, you may send us a detailed request to correct or delete it, in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 1981 and regulations. Please contact us with any privacy-related questions at: vetenapp@meorot.co.il.
